Domestic and Commercial Solar Installation

Businesses are increasingly discovering the benefits of solar PV technology, such as lowering energy expenses, improved corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, and the ability to receive additional funding to help offset the initial cost.

Our team of solar energy experts have many years of experience serving commercial and domestic clients in Ireland and have completed more than 50 successful installations across all counties. Look no further than TEC Facilities for all of your Solar PV system needs. We will work closely with your business all the way from the initial quote to the finished product.

Commerical

Irish businesses can write off 100% of the cost of energy-efficient equipment, including solar panels, against their profit in the first year of purchase. It means less tax to pay and quicker savings.

There is also capital allowances as a standard tax incentive for businesses investing in solar solutions. Spreading the deduction over eight years instead of just one with the ACA. Both of these options help lower your company's tax bill while boosting its green credentials.

Grants

The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) offers grants for both residential and non-residential solar panel installations. Additionally, the Non-Domestic Microgeneration Grant provides financial assistance for businesses and community organisations looking to install solar panels in Ireland.

TAMS 3 solar scheme

Farmers can apply for grant aid to install solar PV on their rooftops under the new Targeted Agricultural Modernisation Scheme (TAMS 3).

Grant aid under the solar capital investment scheme (SCIS) will be paid at a rate of 60% with a ceiling of €90,000. The size of the available investments has also moved from 11kW to 62kW.

Farmers can include the energy required for their family home when calculating the solar panel requirement overall.

The SCIS is also ring fenced which means eligible farmers are able to apply for the maximum ceiling of €90,000 along with for example a ceiling of €40,000 for the Low Emission Slurry Scheme (LESS) and an increased ceiling of €90,000 for all other TAMS 3 schemes.
